Catechism

Children in grades 4,5,and6 attend classes in preparation for confirmation of their baptismal vows in sixth grade. We meet on Wednesday afternoons for the classes. Our meeting place is the Bethlehem Rooms on the second floor of the church building. During arrival time of 3:003:45 PM we will have available a study hall for completeing school work, memory work, and quiet games. A musical opportunity is offered in the church sanctuary with June Saindon leading the group in contemporary worship music. Last year this small group contributed to several worship services and was a great asset to the confirmation service.

3:45 -4:00 is snack, devotions, announcements in the Bethlehem Room. The Class/Snack schedule is attached. Four families share the burden of providing snacks for 45 children.

4:00-5:00 will be class time.Classes will adjourn to separate rooms to hold class. 4th grade will stay in the Bethlehem Room,5th grade will go to the Quilting Room, and 6th grade will go to the Spanish Room.
Children should be dropped off and picked up on the alley side of the church at the double glass doors.
Class attendance and church attendance are expected. If 3 or more classes are missed, then the student will need to make up missed assignments and class time by contacting their teacher. This year's teachers are:

Church attendance also includes serving as acolytes and crucifers when assigned.
