Is Trinity Lutheran School Right for Your Family?
We Think So.
Choosing your child’s education is an important decision. We firmly believe that Trinity Lutheran School gives your child the best foundation for a strong, successful life. These are just a few of the reasons worth considering when deciding if we’re right for your family.
Trinity Lutheran School welcomes children and families of all Christian faiths. Our goal for your child is to include the Bible at the top of their books to study. Learning the Word of God forms the foundation of all other texts. In math, in social studies, in biology – all academic roads lead to God, in whom all knowledge has its origin. Your children won’t travel that road in the local public school.
Year over year, our children achieve overall higher test scores than other schools in Marysville. We are proud that all of our schools in our community exceed the state of Ohio averages, but we feel driven to always be the best for your child. If you’d like to see our scores year over year, we can share them with you.
Smaller, attentive classrooms
Our classrooms are smaller (20 or less) and this allows teachers to build relationships with the students and families. More conversations, understanding their learning methods and getting to know their special personalities that make them gifts from God.
All children learn in many different ways. Our smaller classrooms allow us to learn how your child learns and apply methods that assist them in retention. We provide our students with traditional learning tools and today’s resources such as iPads, laptops, smart boards and interactive technology.
If you’re like most Christian parents, you’ve taught your children about God since the day they were born. You’ve taken them to church, read them Bible stories, sung “Jesus Loves Me.”
Once they are ready for school, this should not stop. While many schools are prohibited by law to reinforce the values you teach at home, you’ll no longer have to bridge any philosophical gaps between the mental and spiritual development of your child. Instead you can focus more on ball games, bike rides and meaningful conversation.
Remember field trips as a child? Riding the bus and exploring? Many children today aren’t given the opportunity to take the classroom outside. We make it a priority to plan educational and enjoyable field trips just like we used to have growing up.
Art and Music
Sadly today, many art and music programs are the first to go when budgets are cut, but we believe in true holistic learning. Art and music are a very important component. Your child will have a robust art and music schedule while at Trinity.
Our lunches. Seriously!
Trinity is pleased to offer nutritious, homemade school lunches that meet or exceed all federal school lunch guidelines. Our lunch team is always mixing it up, avoiding the routine rotation and making the lunchroom fun. We are also very conscientious of allergies and have alternatives to keep children safe.
Trinity students graduate once they complete the 6th grade. As all other intermediate students move on to middle school, we too have ours transition. Trinity prepares our students for this transition better than any other school. Our students have met high standards for years, and have gained the confidence and knowledge of self that they need to make new friends and focus on academics. Middle school teachers can spot a Trinity Student in their class every year. And we know that’s an impressive compliment!
