Staff Changes

Trinity regrets to announce that Miss Jamie Schwierking has resigned her position as our Alt. Kindergarten teacher effective at the end of this school year.  She has accepted a Kindergarten teaching position with the Marysville Schools.  Although Miss S doesn’t know yet what school she will be assigned to, we know that she will be a blessing to the school that is lucky enough to get her! Miss S has been a wonderful blessing to the students of Trinity for 10 years and will be greatly missed!  Please keep the CDSC and Mrs. Poling in your prayers as they work to fill this position for the 2015-16 school year.

Annual Flower Sale

Information, brochures and order sheets will be given to the students on March 4th (please note the date change from 3/2).  Foertmeyer’s Greenhouse will be providing us with the flowers to fill all the orders.  Hanging baskets, planters, annuals and perennials will be available and make great Mother’s Day presents.  Order pick up will be May 8th** – FRIDAY NIGHT – from 5:00-7:00 p.m.  Volunteers are needed at 3:30 p.m. to help sort the flowers when they arrive – please see Mrs. Spencer if you can assist with this part of the sale.  Proceeds from the sale help fund field trips.   If you have any questions, please contact the school office at 937-642-1726.

Science Fair

Ever wonder which toothpaste actually whitens the best?  What beverage is worse for your teeth?  Whether plants grow better in water or soil?  What soybean has the best germination rate?  What battery really lasts the longest?  Come to the science fair to find out!  The students in the 5th and 6th grades have been working hard on their experiments since December and the results will be judged on March 17th.  At 7:00 p.m. that evening, awards will be presented and the students will be available to explain their projects.  The Science Fair will be held in the gymnasium.   Students and parents from the 4th grade are particularly encouraged to come to see what they will be doing next year!

Pennies for Patients

This year, Trinity’s Pennies for Patients campaign will begin on March 2th and will end on Thursday, March 19th. Small collection boxes will be sent home with the students prior to the start of our campaign.   Our Trinity Hero is Marley Phillips, one of our  Kindergarten students this year.
